Sàn OKEx là gì?

Sàn OKEx là một sàn giao dịch tiền điện tử lớn cung cấp dịch vụ tài chính cho các trader toàn cầu sử dụng công nghệ Blockchain và có trụ sở tại Hồng Kông, thánh địa của các sàn giao dịch và nhiều dự án crypto. OKEx được thành lập vào năm 2014 và được đầu tư hàng triệu đô la từ các quỹ đầu tư mạo hiểm như Giant Network Group, Longling Capital, Ceyuan Ventures, Qianhe Capital Management, eLong Inc và VenturesLab (đồng sáng lập bởi Tim Draper).

Sàn chính thức được ra mắt bởi công ty bitcoin khổng lồ OKCoin.com (giống như GDAX thuộc quyền sở hữu của Coinbase). OKCoin đã ngừng mua bán các hợp đồng tương lai từ ngày 30/5/2017 và được các giao dịch được chuyển sang tên OKEx. Gần như giao diện và các công nghệ của OKCoin đều chuyển giao qua OKEX.

Sàn OKEx ra đời vì những lo ngại về các lệnh cấm ICO và điều chỉnh sàn giao dịch của Trung Quốc trong lĩnh vực tiền điện tử. API đã được giới thiệu với người dùng lần đầu tiên vào ngày 7/6/2017. OKEx ban đầu tập trung vào việc phục vụ thị trường châu Á, và sau đó đã mở rộng để phục vụ cho các khách hàng tại hơn 100 quốc gia khác nhau.

OKCoin sẽ tập trung chủ yếu giao dịch tiền điện tử với tiền fiat còn các khách hàng muốn mua bán các hợp đồng tương lai (của Bitcoin và Litecoin) thì sẽ được chuyển sang sàn OKEx.

Hiện tại, theo số liệu thống kê của CoinMarketCap thì sàn giao dịch OKEx đang xếp hạng thứ 2 về tổng khối lượng giao dịch 24 giờ (khoảng hơn 500 triệu USD với cặp giao dịch có lưu lượng lớn nhất là BTC/USDT).
